his workshop provides clinicians with an updated overview of evidence-based and emerging treatments used to support Autistic individuals across the lifespan. The session begins with a foundational understanding of neurodiversity frameworks and recent research developments in Autism. Participants will then be introduced to a range of contemporary treatment modalities—including Unstuck and On Target, PEERS, Social Thinking, CBT, DBT, Polyvagal Theory approaches, and Interoception work—and will learn how each modality targets specific areas such as executive functioning, social communication, emotional regulation, and body awareness. Through a clinically oriented review of these interventions, attendees will gain practical tools for integrating these approaches into treatment planning and supporting Autistic clients in a strengths-based and individualized manner.

- Differentiate between core neurodiversity principles and traditional deficit-based models of Autism, citing at least two implications for clinical practice.
- Summarize recent evidence-based findings in Autism research and identify how these findings inform treatment planning across the lifespan.
