The course will describe a conceptualization of religious OCD that can help clarify for clients and therapists how to address these symptoms.     • review of subtypes
  • Discussion of scrupulosity/moral/religious OCD subtype (10 min)
    • How it presents
  • Difficulties associated with treatment of religious OCD (25 mins)
    • How symptoms may overlap with normative behaviors and rituals
  • Reviewing a conceptualization of religious OCD that can help overcome these difficulties (40 mins)
    • learning to distinguish between OCD and normative behavior
