RITTM (Module 2 - Session 2)

RITTM

MODULE 2
Session 2
July 25, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM PT (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST)

The Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model (RITTM) is a comprehensive approach to trauma treatment which integrates different modalities of therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic psychology, and mindfulness-based interventions to provide a holistic approach to trauma healing.

The RITTM approach recognizes that trauma affects not only the mind but also the body, emotions, and spirit. Therefore, it emphasizes the need for a multi-dimensional approach that addresses all these aspects of the individual's experience.

RITTM includes specific techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindfulness practices, and somatic therapies. These techniques aim to help clients regulate their nervous system, develop new coping skills, and process traumatic memories in a safe and effective way.

Overall, RITTM aims to empower clients to reconnect with themselves and the world around them by building resilience, developing healthy self-regulation skills, and creating a new narrative of healing and growth.
