New brain research has been able to break the myth that our brain capacity is determined at birth. We have been told over and over again that short of medication intervention, there is very little we can do to help children achieve any improvement in areas they have functional weaknesses in. During this webinar participants will briefly review the structure of the brain and how a child’s brain differs from an adult brain. Evidence based treatment/teaching techniques that improve various brain functions will be discussed. The concept of preparing the children to become “Learning Ready” at different stages of life will be explored.
